Cooking Series

HOME / COOKING SERIES

Our various Cooking Series are usually 6-8 weeks long and are developed for different groups of people. We’ve had sessions with youth, seniors, families and more. As well as learning concrete cooking skills (like working with simple recipes, knife skills and more), these sessions touch upon building knowledge around things like smart shopping, reading package labels with a discerning eye, and building a basic understanding of food security and our local food systems.

The various series are also about fun and making the special connections that happen in the kitchen, making good food and sharing it around a table. Depending on the season, our program participants may also look forward to using same-day picked ingredients from our garden.
