Location:	602 Silica Street Nelson, BC, V1L 4N1 The Nelson Community Food Centre is located in the lower hall of the Nelson United Church.

Our Community Meals are at the heart of what we do. Every Tuesday from 3–6 p.m., we gather for the Gathering Table — a space where people can share a delicious, nourishing meal while reconnecting with friends, neighbours, and familiar faces. Many of the folks who join us also take part in our Good Food Bank and other programs, making the Gathering Table an important touchpoint for community, comfort, and connection.

Each week’s menu is a little different, featuring wholesome, balanced dishes that reflect the growing cultural diversity of Nelson. We love showcasing food that’s not only good for you, but budget-friendly, flavourful, and made with care. Whenever possible, we cook with the same ingredients offered through our Good Food Bank, helping people see and taste new ways to use what they bring home.

Alongside our Tuesday meals, we also serve a light lunch at the Good Food Bank every other Wednesday from 1–4 p.m.

Four times a year — at each solstice and equinox — we host a special seasonal feast. These meals include a little something extra to mark the occasion and celebrate the turning of the seasons together.
