Ways to Donate

By donating to the Nelson Community Food Centre you make a difference in the community. We serve more than 1,200 low-income people every month through our Good Food Bank, while our Harvest Rescue, Food Skills and Garden programs offer a place where people can learn, grow and share healthy foods.  Donations help make it all happen; those of $20 or more are eligible for tax receipts.

There are many ways you can support the Nelson Community Food Centre:

  • You can help most by joining our Monthly Donor Program. Enrolling is a great way to provide year-round support for our four programs.
  • One Time Gifts. We are very grateful for any and all donations. If a single donation works best for you, that’s perfect.
  • Gifts of Securities. This is a handy way to support the Food Centre while potentially saving significantly on your taxes. (Click here to learn more)
